Ethernet Controller Driver Download

My computer is built and is running the academic version of Windows 7.0 Pro 64-bit SP1, which looks fine. I am delighted by the progress made; however, I am not yet connected to the internet. I get a Code 28 (missing driver) error for ethernet controller, which is the way I am now connected to the Uverse 2Wire gateway. First of all, I am no longer absolutely sure that the Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2 motherboard has an ethernet controller and I can't seem to find a driver for it on the Asus website. What should I do next?
